Amar leads a team supporting customers in identifying, evaluating and improving physical and operational resilience related to natural hazards
and climate change.

Prior to joining Zurich Insurance in 2011 he held several roles in the civil engineering sector, specialising in large-scale infrastructure projects. He developed the natural hazards resilience service after the 2011 Thailand floods and was also the global head of
the natural hazards risk engineering technical centre.
