It's no surprise that as the risk management profession continues to gain wider recognition for the value it brings to organisations, aspiring risk managers look to build their careers and those at any level aim to develop and extend their knowledge and contacts.

On Day 2 of this year's Construction Risk Management Europe conference, all risk manager delegates are invited to a pre-conference breakfast hosted by the UK risk management association Airmic.

This session will be relevant for risk managers at all stages of their careers. It will contain practical insights into creating a pathway to joining company boards or executive committees, as well as assess how sitting on boards as non-executive directors (NEDs) or joining boards or executive committees for risk and insurance associations can advance your career.

The discussion will explore the career progression benefits associated with industry roles that enable professionals to develop new skills, raise their profile in their professional community and within their own company and engage with a wide range of different people and organisations.

The Airmic breakfast SIG will bring together risk managers under the famous Chatham House Rule, which means that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of any participant, may be revealed.

Please register for the conference in order to register for the breakfast, which is only available to risk managers. Conference and breakfast attendance is FREE for risk managers.
