There are many challenges when it comes to ecological restoration projects. One of which is addressing the compliance and financing challenges of restorations particularly in the event that their original integrity or revised recovery trajectory is compromised. Mitigating these risks for specified projects by de-risking financing opportunities through insuring the financial cost can be an effective risk management and risk transfer solution. This workshop explores the challenges and the options for mitigating and transferring risk.
