The escalating risk landscape in the construction sector is increasing the pressure on buyers to ensure that they have adequate insurance programmes in place. Climate risks, inflation, the drive to net zero and supply chain pressures are combining to create the perfect storm for insurance buyers, many of whom have openly called for more support from their insurance partners. But do risk manager frustrations highlight a lack of innovation or support from the insurance industry or are insurers facing tighter constraints and their own challenges in order to ensure they are able to offer commercially viable solutions and remain a long term partner to their clients?  This session will bring together a panel of insurance buyers, brokers and insurers to discuss the various challenges today's risks present when looking to transfer these into the insurance markets with a unique view from each perspective.  The panel will also discuss how the insurance and the construction industry needs to work together to enable innovative and more efficient risk sharing frameworks in a way that encourages collaborative working.
