Matthias has built a distinguished career at Allianz, specialising in large corporate construction and engineering underwriting. He has over 25 years' experience in sales and underwriting. He has held a series of increasingly senior sales and underwriting roles in Germany (Frankfurt and Munich) and Canada (Toronto). He then served as Chief Underwriter and later Regional Head of Large Corporate Construction Business across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Last year he was appointed European Head of Large Corporate Construction Business at Allianz Commercial. In this role, he is responsible for the company's strategy for large corporate construction clients and multinational teams across Europe.
