With over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Juan María is an expert in designing Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) and parametric insurance solutions. Throughout his career, he has dedicated more than 8 years to technical specialisation within the Construction and Energy sectors, managing complex placements for major infrastructure and energy projects. After leading the parametric strategy at Aon Spain for three years, he currently spearheads Descartes’ expansion across Iberia and Central Europe, where he helps industrial and construction firms strengthen their climate resilience through innovative, data-driven solutions.
