François Périquet is an experienced engineering and insurance executive with a strong track record in corporate underwriting across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Trained as a mechanical engineer, he has held senior leadership roles spanning energy, construction and risk engineering.
He began his career as a Risk Engineer at AIG before progressing into Energy, Property and Construction underwriting. After serving in a regional leadership role for Energy and Construction across Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, he went on to become Head of Energy for the Middle East, Africa and CIS at Zurich in Dubai.
He currently serves as Global Head of Engineering & Construction Underwriting at HDI Global SE, based in Hannover.
