Martin has had a long and distinguished career in the insurance sector working for leading global organisations including Swiss Re, AIG, WTW, Aon and Marsh and has a strong technical background in actuarial science and enterprise risk management and holds an MBA in which his dissertation was in climate change.
Before setting up his own consultancy company OneRisk Consulting in 2020 he was a Chief Risk Officer for a Lloyds syndicate in London.
He is currently the Chair of IRM’s climate change committee and an academic lead at Cambridge University having designed an online course in 2023 for executives in ESG risk management.
