Lawrence is the Regional Leader for all Captive Insurance matters in Asia and Pacific responsible for the captive management operations in the region together with overall responsibility for the captive consulting services focused on captive strategy for existing captive owners and prospective captive owners, with which Lawrence is heavily involved.
He has worked in the Captive Insurance field for 27 years. He was in Guernsey, Europe’s largest captive domicile, for 7 years and then moved to Bermuda, the world’s largest domicile at the time, where he spent 16 years and was the Head of Marsh’s captive operation. Lawrence moved to Singapore in 2022 focusing 100% on creating new captives and growing existing captives for the Asia and Pacific clients before taking on the expanded role in 2026 of Regional Leader for Captives in the region.
