Construction projects today are typically bigger and more complex than ever before with more contractors and longer supply chains than in previous years. These changes have widened the range of supply chain risks that construction companies face, from climate change and geopolitics to cyber security all of which can lead to costly project delays and increased liability. In this presentation we assess the key components that lead to supply chain threats and assess strategies firms can implement for risk identification, risk mitigation and risk transfer.
