Name
Panel discussion: Mind the gap
Description

Global programmes can cover a range of risks and territories, with admitted and non-admitted covers and overlying covers. As a result, there is a huge potential for gaps in coverage, with losses potentially falling into the cracks.
With numerous operations in different territories, ensuring blanket coverage is a must. Key questions in this session include:

  • How do gaps occur and how to avoid them?
  • What are the typical gaps in cover, whether primary or umbrella?
  • What gaps and confusion can occur with terms and conditions leading to missing coverage?
  • How can FINC be used to help plug gaps?
  • How to obtain certainty and uniformity whilst maintaining compliance and keeping costs down?
  • What are the big challenges posed in terms of nat cat, cyber and supply chain/NDBI – do these risks need to be dealt with separately?
