LiLian has more than 20 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry, with 16 years as a construction underwriter. A civil engineer by training, LiLian started her insurance career as a risk engineer in Malaysia before moving to Singapore to cover property facultative reinsurance. She has been based in Hong Kong for 18 years and currently heads the Natural Resources and Construction team in Hong Kong and Greater China for Allianz Commercial, where she is also the Regional Practice Leader for the heavy civils segment.
