2026 CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
This, the 4th edition of the Construction Risk Management Asia Conference will bring together senior risk leaders from contractors and project owners, insurers, brokers and other service industry firms for a packed day of dynamic debate and analysis. The agenda will explore how firms are adapting their approach to risk, making changes to risk strategies and how the role of risk leaders in the APAC region is evolving in the effort to manage and mitigate existing and new threats.
Asia’s construction sector is entering a defining period of transformation. Megaprojects are becoming larger, more complex and more exposed to systemic and interconnected risks than ever before – at the same time that insurance capacity tightens, investor scrutiny intensifies, regulatory regimes evolve and external volatility and geopolitical instability intensifies.
From high-speed rail and deep-water ports to offshore energy, renewable infrastructure and hyperscale data centres, projects are increasingly
capital-intensive and operationally intricate. Risk landscapes are shifting rapidly – driven by energy volatility, climate extremes, supply chain fragility, workforce scarcity, advanced materials, digitalisation and heightened insurance and investor expectations. These trends are reshaping project feasibility, bankability and insurability across the region.
By focusing on Asia-specific risk exposures and solutions, this conference equips senior construction and risk professionals with actionable strategies to strengthen project resilience, safeguard investment and secure insurance capacity. Delegates will leave with a comprehensive understanding of emerging risks, market trends and governance approaches that will define the successful delivery of the region’s next generation of megaprojects. At its core, Construction Risk Management Asia 2026 provides a forum to challenge assumptions, share insight and equip leaders with the perspective needed to navigate Asia’s increasingly complex construction risk environment – today and into the future.
