Bala has more than twelve years of experience in infrastructure projects, Crime Prevention through environmental design (CPTED), high security operations as well as incident and crisis management. Prior to joining International SOS, Bala was the Regional Security Manager & Crisis Management Team Leader (APAC) with John Wiley & Sons Pte Ltd, where he was responsible for the security and safety of offices and staffs across the APAC region. In addition, he was responsible for the set-up and operation of a 24/7 Crisis Management Operations Centre in Sri Lanka in 2021. Prior to this role, Bala led international security infrastructure projects, security consultancy, operations, and physical security expansion projects in Certis Cisco, Singapore.
