Alasdair Walker joined Sompo in August of 2023 as Regional Head of Distribution Insurance, Asia Pacific. Alasdair is responsible for accelerating Sompo’s commercial insurance business growth across the region by developing and executing on the go-to-market strategy across sales, client management, distribution and other partnerships. He joins Sompo from Allianz where he held underwriting and distribution positions in the UK, South Africa and most recently Singapore, as Regional Head of Distribution managing a team across multiple locations.
