Niklas has been with HDI Global for 21 years as General Manager Marine with responsibility for HDI Global’s marine business in the Nordic Region. Since 2026, he has also been Global Head of Marine Hull at HDI Global.
Niklas has a long history and experience it the Nordic marine insurance market and been working with other major Nordic Marine insurers as well as broker at Marsh in Stockholm.
Niklas is Chairman of Insurance Sweden’s Board of Marine insurers for more than a decade and have a longstanding engagement in IUMI by being member of their Cargo Committee for more than 15 years and currently member of its Policy Forum.

Chris has spent most of his insurance career as a P&I specialist starting 24 years ago working in the underwriting department of the UK P&I Club.
In 2007 Chris joined the Willis P&I team. During his 5 years at Willis Chris was promoted to Divisional Director and was responsible for the broking and servicing of a worldwide portfolio of P&I business including many major clients.
Chris joined Aon Marine in 2012 as a Director and was promoted to Head of the P&I team in 2020. In 2025 Chris moved to his current role as Transportation and Logistics leader for EMEA where he takes a key role across multiple lines of business but likes to maintain a particular focus on P&I.

Camilla is currently the Global Head of Marine Underwriting for Zurich Insurance’s Global Specialty Division as well as the Head of Marine for Europe. She joined Zurich in 2010 and over the past 16 years has held various roles across Claims, Customer Distribution and Marketing and Marine Underwriting, predominantly focused on multinational, London and EMEA markets. Camilla also holds a Masters in Law from University College London.

He has acted as Global Supply Chain Loss Prevention/Security Manager and Risk & Insurance Manager, integrating risk management with business objectives.

After serving as a commissioned officer in the Danish Army Lars got a master’s degree in law at the University of Copenhagen and spent 6 years as an Attorney at Law at the Danish law firm, Plesner. In 1998 he joined Maersk Oil, where he, after 5 years of posting in Qatar, became the General Counsel and Head of the Corporate Legal Department. After being with Maersk Oil for 12 years Lars moved to the A.P. Moller-Maersk group in 2010, where he became Vice President and Head of Global Risk Management. He still holds this position today, as well as is the Managing Director of Maersk Insurance A/S. In addition to these roles Lars is also Chairman of the board at the Danish Shipowners’ Accident Insurance Association, Board member in NorthStandard Reinsurance Limited, as well as Chairman of Danish Shipping’s Assurance Committee.

Sam is the Chief Claims Officer at NorthStandard and leads a large-scale claims operation across multiple global offices (the US, Europe, Asia and Australasia), overseeing 250 colleagues.
He is a dual-qualified solicitor (UK and Queensland), spent 10 years in private practice before joining the club, and has over 25 years’ experience of the insurance industry. He is recognised as having special expertise in major marine casualty management and has been responsible for managing several of the world’s most complex and demanding cases including the Costa Concordia, with a P&I exposure of $1.5bn.
Sam has represented the club on various IG and other industry bodies, including the IG’s Large Claims Committee (past Chair), Salvage Committee, Pollution Committee, and the Fines, Salvage Exclusions, Heads of Claims, Realistic Disaster Scenarios and Salvage Preparedness & Contingency Planning working groups.

Prior to his insurance career, he held senior operational and commercial roles at Emirates Shipping Line and is a qualified Master Mariner.

Chris leads Aon’s U.S. Marine Risk Engineering & Loss Control team and brings more than 20 years of experience in maritime operations, marine insurance, risk engineering, and loss prevention. A naval architect by training, Chris has worked as a marine surveyor, engineering consultant, and salvage naval architect, supporting numerous Hull & Machinery (H&M) and P&I casualty investigations, marine project cargo, and shipyard builders’ risk surveys.
Prior to joining Aon in 2019, Chris served as Loss Control Manager for Hull and Marine Liabilities at Starr Marine, where he developed loss prevention programs for towing vessel operators, shipyards, marine terminals, waterfront contractors, and marine cargo operations. At Aon, Chris provides technical risk advisory and loss prevention expertise to marine clients, working closely with underwriters and industry stakeholders to reduce operational risk and strengthen safety performance across the maritime sector.

Tom is the Global Head of Hull Construction at Intact Insurance, based in London. He has been in the insurance market for 26 years and with Intact since 2021 when they acquired RSA Insurance Group Ltd, where Tom began his insurance career in 2000.
Following his time on the General Business Management Graduate Trainee Programme he settled in Marine and has spent the past 25 years underwriting across Marine Hull and Marine Liability lines and has built up a prominent position as a Lead Underwriter in the Ship Builders’ Risks segment. The shipbuilding underwriting is global, written predominantly from London across large projects and shipyard covers spanning Naval, Cruise, Yacht and Conventional vessel sectors, along with construction projects at yards for vessels and units in the offshore sector, including renewables.
Tom is also the business leader for the London Hull & Marine Liability portfolio, managing a team of seven underwriters and reporting to the Intact Global Head of Marine
